Nowadays, more people are interested in the world's environmental problems such as global warming, using toxic material, and decreasing in scares resources. Globally, many governments worldwide have lunched different environmental campaigns to promote environmental awareness among public and rising commitment level towards our planet. Several companies in supply chain field responded to these camping by applying "green" standards to their company's policies, such as using ecological raw material, reducing the energy usage in production process, and considering recycling concept. Major purpose of student in particular dissertation, it was actually to be concerned to the study and analysis of the Green Banking products in Greece and what is actually happened in the field of purchasing quantities of emissions accordingly. Therefore and in order for student this dissertation to be an accurate one, student proceeds to his analysis by also mentioning the meaning and characteristics of Supply Chain Management as also that of Green Supply Chain Management and to what extent that could have an impact on the operation of Greek Banks in specific field as also to the Emission Trading Market. |
