In the chapters that follow, extensive reference is made to the importance of sustainable development for the business world and for the entire planet in general. We will analyze how the concept of sustainable development began, which agencies and organizations helped to put into practice all the necessary actions. The ways in which businesses achieve economic benefit while protecting the environment, local communities and workers are thoroughly analyzed in this thesis.
