Depending on the nature of the pandemic, certain sectors of economy could receive an unexpected blow that could shake the very foundations of, not only a country but, the global economic system as well. So, despite the sectors, who are directly affected by the consequences of a pandemic (health), there are series of negative social, economic and political consequences that affect both directly and indirectly the overall economy of a country. That could affect greatly the world economy, since the worldwide economic activities are interconnected. |
