With the use of academic literature the tanker industry will be analyzed (-world commercial fleet cost structure- , price of tankers, spot and period charter rates etc.) and structural level (-oil companies- , types of ships, shipowners, governments etc.) The dynamic present in different periods in the market will also be presented.
