Περίληψη:The story as a plot, action, script, and simple vocabulary achieves the activation of students and leads to the cultivation of their creativity, imagination and critical ability. Their recreational character makes learning fun and enjoyable. Today, thanks to the rapid development of technology, the digitization of classical works of Children's Literature has been achieved, thus enhancing their charm and attractiveness as they cover the needs of pupils born in contexts where the image dominates. However, the transfer of a fairytale to the cinema screen is accompanied by a series of changes in both its structure and its contents, which excludes the use of these as educational tools. This research took place in order to study the structure and the film's content "Pinocchio" curated by Roberto Benigni and an adaptation of the fairy tale "The Adventures of a Marionette" inspired by Collodi, to determine if it can be used in school room by replacing the printed presentation and if it can be used during educational programs. To achieve this research purpose, the content analysis method was applied. At first level the structure of the digital story was investigated compared to the original. Initially, the tripartite distinction of the structure was: start, middle, end. Each part was then divided into adventure units and each section into subdivisions. Then a comparison of both similarities and differences was made. Finally, the findings of the survey were cited. Secondly, how five social issues with a long-lasting impact have been addressed. These were: the father's model, the mother's model, violence, bullying and friendship. Initially, they were localized in the original text. They were then identified in the film and analyzed their approach. Finally, the conclusions were drawn. A general conclusion of the research was that the film cannot be used in place of the printed form of the fairytale as it is not a faithful copy of it. However, the modern way of approaching critical issues and the performance of all the aspects that it offers make it a useful educational tool during educational programs.
