| Περίληψη: | The issue at hand discussed in this project concerns the assessment of the receding scale of the coastlines in Tynιsia as it has been established in previous researches on the basis of sea level variations due to time as well as natural and human interference. Extensive attention is given to the historical records of seal level variations over time, the natural and human induced causes which contribute to the rising sea levels and lastly the ways in which the country’s beaches are reacting based on their respective particularities. As coastal lines are highly susceptible to sea level fluctuations, this paper evaluates how beaches are affected by such potential changes based on mathematical and interpretive models. Finally, personal deductions are made as to what the projected sea level variances will be in Tynιsia and how these will likely reshape the country’s beaches. |
