Summary:The safety of flight, and how it achieved, implementing rules and regulations established worldwide, and especially those in effect within the European countries, members of the European Authority, for the Safety of Aviation (EASA). One safe flight requires before taking off, thorough inspection practices and precise and predetermined maintenance, by a properly qualified and certified maintenance organization. The level of importance rises, where low cost airliners are increasingly involved in daily air routes. The present study, investigates and describes, the rules and procedures required for the certification of a maintenance organization by the European Authority (EASA), and furthermore, the process for the continuation of this certification. Compliance with the Regulation requirements, is a prerequisite to ensure the user of the aircraft that mishaps will minimized towards zero, delays will avoided, and bogus parts will not interfere with the projected availability of the aircraft
