Μια ομάδα νεαρών κινηματογραφιστών με επικεφαλή τον Lindsay Anderson στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 50 αποφάσισαν να επαναστατήσουν ενάντια στην άκαμπτη προσαρμογή του βρετανικού κινηματογράφου και δημιούργησαν τις δικές τους ταινίες έξω από τους περιορισμούς του "συστήματος"....
