Περίληψη: The Caroline Plummer Community Dance Fellowship was launched by the University of Otago on International Dance Day on April the 29th, 2004. The fellowship was made possible by an endowment to the University from the Caroline Plummer Memorial Trust which was set up by Caroline's family after her death on April 28th, 2003. It was under a Partnership in Excellence scheme that the University of Otago secured government funding to support the endowment and secure the future of a once-a-year six-month appointment of a community dance practitioner/artist/writer/person. This article examines the legacy of the fellowship from the point of view of Caroline Plummer's parents, Bibby and Tony, as they negotiated their lives following the death of their dearly loved daughter, as they sought to keep her memory alive through the fellowship.
