Περίληψη: The objective of this study was to assess whether the electronically administered Disciplinary-Test of Competences (TECO-D) is able to assess the changes of students in occupational therapy courses. The secondary objective was to evaluate the minimal detective change with TECO-D. The cohort examined in 2023 was divided into four sub-populations: students enrolled in 2023 (I year of course); students enrolled in 2022 (II year course), students enrolled in 2021 (III year course) and undergraduate enrolled in 2020. The evaluation of the responsiveness evaluated by t-test for paired samples showed statistically significant data. The analysis of the TECO-D showed significant improvements in student competencies between the first and second years, with increases in several areas (p < 0.05). However, variations diminished between the second and third years, and between the third year and graduates, with more modest changes in specific areas. The greatest increase occurred in the first two years, with a mean difference of 12.2 points between the first and second years. The results suggest that the growth of competencies in occupational therapy is more pronounced in the first two years of training, while progress stabilizes in later stages. Advanced competencies develop more gradually. The score variability analysis indicates that some areas require more sensitive assessment to detect improvements in the later stages of the training program.
