| Περιγραφή: | This study, which is both a personal assessment and the result of an intense experience as a student first and later as a Spanish teacher in the Cameroonian education system, has its origins in the lack of global prestige of local African languages. The study attempts to explain the difficulties of Spanish students at the University of Dschang who speak a variant of Bantu encounter. More precisely, first language (L1) of learners who have Yemba as their first language (L1), French as a second language (L2), and English as a third language (L3), and who are learning Spanish as a foreign language (FL) in a multilingual context. The fundamental question in this research is: how can the Yemba language in contact with the French language benefit or contribute to benefit the Spanish language learning and teaching? This article unravels and offers a view of the combination of the sociolinguistic situation in Cameroon and particular attention to the general condition of the languages that constitute our object of study. It then examines the theoretical framework of the acquisition/learning of a second or third language and the epistemological approaches to education in multilingual contexts, highlighting the different assumptions and fundamental concepts. This research also deals with the contrastive study of past tenses, emphasizing the temporal and aspectual specificities of the verbal system of the Yemba language, compared to those of the Roman languages, in this case, Spanish and French |
| Description (Translated): | La falta de prestigi mundial de les llengües locals africanes ens ha portat a aquest estudi, que és una valoració personal i alhora el resultat d’una intensa experiència com a estudiant i després com a professora d’espanyol en el sistema educatiu camerunès. La tesi intenta explicar les dificultats que troben els estudiants de la universitat de Dschang la llengua substrat dels quals és d’origen bantú, com la L1 dels participants amb yemba L1, francès L2 i anglès L3 que aprenen l’espanyol com a LE/L4 en un context multilingüe. La pregunta inicial, que constitueix el fil conductor que ens plantegem per a emprendre aquesta recerca és: com pot l’aprenent de LE beneficiar-se de la seva L1 i/o què pot aportar la llengua yemba en contacte amb el francès en l’aprenentatge i l’ensenyament de l’espanyol? La tesi desenvolupa i proporciona una visió general de la situació sociolingüística de Camerun i concedeix una atenció especial a la situació general de les tres llengües objecte d’estudi. Després, examina el marc teòric d’adquisició/aprenentatge de segones i terceres llengües, així com uns plantejaments epistemològics sobre l’educació en contextos multilingües tot destacant les diferents hipòtesis i els conceptes fonamentals. S’hi fa també un estudi contrastiu dels temps del passat amb l’objectiu d’exposar les especificitats temporals i aspectuals del sistema verbal de la llengua yemba en contrast amb el de les llengües romàniques, en aquest cas, l’espanyol i el francès Programa de Doctorat en Ciències Humanes, del Patrimoni i de la Cultura |
