The Century Mix (CM) is a standardized reference mixture for evaluating and comparing GC×GC system performance. This study analyzed the impact of key chromatographic parameters on analyte separation using different column configurations. An interlaboratory study further assessed various GC×GC systems under standardized conditions. Results confirmed CM’s effectiveness in simplifying system comparisons and optimizing separation, making it a valuable reference for GC×GC analysis.
