Description: Context and relevance. The study of human interaction with information is currently particularly relevant in the context of studying the psychological consequences of digitalization of public relations. The concept of information-semantic field of personality, which describes its subjective characteristics, can serve as the basis for creating methods of psychodiagnostics. Objective. Assessment of properties of questionnaire "Characteristics of information-semantic field of personality". Hypothesis. The questionnaire has satisfactory indicators of reliability, constructive validity and discriminativeness, allowing it to be used in the empirical study of processes of perception, understanding and application of information by a person. Methods and materials. The study involved 680 people (M = 25,2 years, SD = 6,3 years, 40,8% women), of whom 156 people had limited satisfaction of information needs. The characteristics of information-semantic field were studied using a questionnaire of 3 scales and 12 statements with a binary dichotomous scale for registering responses. Results. The results showed that the questionnaire has satisfactory reliability in terms of internal consistency, construct validity, and discriminative validity. Conclusions. It is shown that the questionnaire, based on the construct of the information-semantic field, has the ability to study various aspects of the interaction between personality and information. The directions for studying the features, problems, and difficulties of obtaining, understanding, and applying information by a person are outlined.
