| Description: | Glycopyrronium is a new powerful quick-acting anticholinergic bronchodilator for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Glycopyrronium is powder in Breezhaler® inhalation device. The review tells about phase III clinical trials demonstrating the positive effect of glycopyrronium on lung function, symptoms of the disease, exercise tolerance, frequency of severe and moderate COPD exacerbations and quality of life of patients. The drug showed good tolerability and high cardiac safety in a long-term period. |
