Description: En español El Coordinador del Departamento de Derechos Humanos del Instituto de Relaciones Internacionales analiza en este trabajo la protección de los Derechos Humanos en el sistema interamericano a través de los instrumentos legales, las categorías de derechos alcanzados y los órganos de la OEA, ocupados de la promoción de los mismos. Se realiza, además, un análisis crítico acerca de los logros alcanzados y las dificultades por las que atraviesa la protección de los Derechos Humanos en el marco de la OEA. En inglés The Coordinator of the Departament of Human Rights of the Institute of International Relations analyzes the protection which the I.A.S. provides through various legal processes, the different categories of Human Rights and the organizing body of the O.A.S. which is responsible for the promotion of Human Rights. He critically analyzes the achievements reached and the difficulties faced in the field of Human Rights within the framework of the O.A.S.
