Περιγραφή: This paper explores how post-menopausal women experience gradual physiological and psychological shifts that align with traditional masculine-coded traits. While menopause is typically framed as a loss of fertility and estrogen, we argue it should also be understood as an unmasking of latent androgenic influence. Aging women often experience increased facial hair, libido, fat redistribution, assertiveness, and emotional reactivity—traits long associated with testosterone dominance. These changes are not random but represent a partially mapped shift toward a mixed-gender or masculinized phase. Drawing from endocrinology, menopause research, and psychological identity studies, we propose that this transformation constitutes a late-life partial transition, with implications for identity, social perception, and medical support. Transgender male hormone therapy provides a useful interpretive framework, as many changes seen in late-life cisgender women mirror those experienced by transmasculine individuals undergoing testosterone therapy. We call for a reconceptualization of aging and gender not as fixed endpoints but as evolving identity processes shaped by endocrine feedback and lifespan adaptation. This paper maintains scientific accessibility and is intended for longevity researchers, clinicians, and gender-informed medical ethics discussions. Woman Transition with age!!!
