Description: This action research strived to improve the communication and work dynamics in an online environment of the CCR and SRO Manila Team. We were able to clarify the issue about our lack of cohesiveness due to the absence of a platform to communicate and interact with each other to discuss non-work topics. Guided by the Cog's Ladder, we aim to move up in the highest team stage, Esprit de Corps, by utilizing our bi-monthly meetings and engaging each other through shared experiences. We conducted two cycles of action research to accomplish our goals. The first cycle dealt with each member's presentation about a topic that they would like to share, followed by an open discussion after the presentation. These activities helped us know our teammates on a deeper level, break barriers, and foster communication. For the second cycle, we aim to sustain the efforts and progress made in the first cycle by inviting speakers outside of our group to share their experiences and learn from them. Moreover, we were able to test the improvement in our team's communication and work dynamics by collaborating to deliver the GCRO Town Hall with our Chief Risk Officer. Due to the improvement in communication, relationship, and team dynamics, we successfully organized and facilitated the GCRO Town Hall. I also reflected on the content, process, and premise of the action research project. We were able to break down barriers, allowing us to strengthen our relation and build a collaborative atmosphere among our team. Finally, an extrapolation of the results of the action research and future directions are discussed.
