| Description: | The article is devoted to the topical issue of professional training of students of the specialty 013 “Primary Education” and the expansion of their grammatical competence. The author examines the improvement of language competence of future primary school teachers in the process of learning verbs. In particular, attention is focused on the indirect functioning of the verb forms of the transposition of the tense forms of the verb. The author of the article substantiates the need for students of the “Primary Education” specialty to familiarize themselves with this linguistic phenomenon, supporting his view with examples from literary and folklore texts for children, as well as examples of students' use of transposed tenses. The relevance of the raised problem is due to the fact that in many texts for reading, which are addressed to children of primary school age, temporal verb forms are used in an indirect time sense, and the teacher will need to explain such examples to students. Students of the 3rd and 4th grades are already familiar with the temporal meaning of the verb, the direct use of temporal verb forms. But they encounter cases of indirect use of verbs in literary texts and oral speech, which is called in linguistics transposition of tense forms of verbs. So, for example, a verb in the form of the present tense has the meaning of the past or future tense. The purpose of the article is to outline the problem of forming the grammatical competence of students majoring in “Primary Education” by familiarizing them with the indirect use of tense forms of verbs; analyze texts for children regarding the presence of transposed tense forms of the verb; justify the necessity of familiarizing future primary school teachers with the linguistic phenomenon of transposition of temporal verb forms. The author defines the concept of “transposition of verb tenses”, describes direct and indirect ways of using the verb, types of transposition of verb tenses in the Ukrainian language, analyzes the purpose of their use, gives examples of sentences with transposed verb forms from artistic texts for children, as well as from creative works of students, which proves the use of analyzed forms by students. Стаття присвячена питанню розширення граматичної компетенції студентів спеціальності 013 “Початкова освіта” у процесі вивчення дієслова. Автор розглядає непряме функціонування дієслівних форм ‑ транспозицію часових форм дієслова, обґрунтовує необхідність ознайомлення студентів з цим мовним явищем, підкріплюючи свій погляд прикладами з літературних і фольклорних текстів для дітей, а також прикладами вживання транспонованих часових форм учнями. |
