| Description: | The article addresses the problematic issues related to the organization of activities of regional social service centers regarding the educational and methodological support of social work and the provision of social services in territorial communities. The definition of the term «regional social service center» is formulated, and the tasks of the regional centers’ activities are identified. The results of a sociological study on the functional capacity of regional social service centers concerning educational and methodological support for the organization of social work and the provision of social services are presented, particularly in the areas of providing social services, forming specialized departments within the center, providing methodological assistance, organizing training events, and determining training topics. The study’s results indicate the inadequate state of reforming the work of regional social service centers in accordance with current legislation.Based on the analysis of normative-legal documents regulating the activities of regional social service centers, the components of educational and methodological support for social work and the provision of social services (training programs, educational and methodological complexes, methodological recommendations and manuals, information resources, practical tools and technologies, methods of professional support and supervision) are identified. The main directions of educational and methodological activities of regional social service centers are systematized (training and professional development, methodological support, the introduction of innovative technologies, information support, monitoring, and evaluation of the effectiveness of social work and the provision of social services, formation of a social work system in the region). According to the directions of scientific and methodological activities, the corresponding tasks of the regional center’s work and forms of their practical implementation are determined. У статті розглянуто проблемні питання організації діяльності регіональних центрів соціальних служб щодо навчально-методичного забезпечення соціальної роботи та надання соціальних послуг. Представлено результати соціологічного дослідження функціональної спроможності регіональних центрів соціальних служб щодо організації навчальнометодичної роботи, зокрема що стосується надання соціальних послуг, формування спеціалізованих підрозділів, надання методичної допомоги, організації навчальних заходів, визначення тематики навчання. За результатами аналізу нормативно-правових документів визначено компоненти навчально-методичного забезпечення соціальної роботи та систематизовано основні напрями навчально-методичної діяльності регіональних центрів соціальних служб, відповідні завдання та форми їхньої практичної реалізації |
