| Description: | The article highlights the organizational and cognitive features of the European system of higher library and information education, identifies the leading countries and the leading universities annually been included into the QSWorld University ranking in the field of Library and Information Management. It is proved that the basic conditions for ensuring higher education high quality, the demand for graduates in the labour market are the institutionalization of powerful scientific schools, their high prestige among the international scientific community, stable relations with employers, flexibility of educational programs, cultivation of traditions of fundamentalization and democratization of the university education. Based on the content analysis of the current European leading educational programs for training specialists in various degrees, it is proved that the main modern transformations vectors of the higher library and information education are multilevelness, continuity, fundamentalization, digitalization, universality and strengthening the information component in education. Висвітлено організаційні та когнітивні особливості європейської системи вищої бібліотечно-інформаційної освіти, визначено країн-лідерів, провідні університети яких щорічно входять до світового рейтингу університетів QS World University за освітнім напрямом Library and Information Management. Доведено, що інституціоналізація потужних наукових шкіл, їхній високий авторитет серед міжнародної наукової спільноти, сталі зв'язки з роботодавцями, гнучкість змісту освітніх програм, культивування традицій фундаменталізації та демократизації освітнього простору університету є базовими умовами забезпечення високої якості вищої освіти, попиту на випускників на ринку праці. На основі контент-аналізу провідних європейських освітніх програм підготовки фахівців різних освітніх ступенів з'ясовано, що основними векторами сучасних трансформацій вищої бібліотечно-інформаційної освіти є багаторівневість, безперервність, фундаменталізація, цифровізація, універсальність і посилення інформаційного складника у змісті освіти. |
