| Περιγραφή: | The article has been devoted to the characterization of the phenomenon of ecological and developmental environment, which the authors recognize as a significant component of the process of forming natural and ecological competence in preschoolers. One of the urgent problems of modern pedagogy is the environmental education of children, which is becoming increasingly important in the context of global environmental problems. It has been noted that the formation of natural and environmental competence in preschool children is carried out in the process of environmental education and upbringing and is their significant and planned result. The authors state that the formation of preschool children’s natural and environmental competence will ensure the preparation of the younger generation for harmonious interaction in the “human-nature” system, appreciation and preservation of the environment, etc. The article has presented the definitions of key concepts of the research by national scientists and their own understanding of the natural and environmental competence of preschool children – an integral system that influences the formation of the child’s personality, worldview and attitude to the world around him or her. It has been emphasized that in preschool age when the foundations of personality are laid, the ecological environment plays a particularly important role, as it is a significant factor in the comprehensive development of the child. The authors consider the ecological and developmental environment to be an important component of the formation of natural and environmental competence in preschool children, which is not only a set of objects and phenomena but an integral system that affects the formation of the child’s personality, worldview and attitude to the world around him or her. According to the authors, an ecological and developmental environment is effective, which includes: specially created conditions for direct contact with nature; a variety of materials and equipment for research and experiments; an atmosphere of emotional comfort and interest; involvement of children in environmental activities, etc. |
