| Description: | Introduction. The article reveals the formation of social work specialist competencies in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in war conditions. Competence is considered as a holistic integrative personal formation, a set of social knowledge, skills, values, experience, which ensure harmonious interaction of a person in uniform and the society. The features of social work as an applied activity in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are highlighted. Purpose. The aim of the article is to analyze trends and factors that affect the in-demand competencies of social workers and intensify the scientific discussion on the reformatting of professional and educational standards. Methods.To achieve the goal and to implement the defined tasks, the following methods of scientific research were used: theoretical - analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization of scientific literature, classification and systematization of theoretical and empirical data; questionnaires, conversations, observations. Originality.The article presents a detailed analysis of the concept of social competence with correlation to the professional components of the social worker model. Conclusion.It is established that the specific personal properties of a social worker, which are necessary for him to carry out successful professional activities in war conditions, are identical to the characteristics and main components of social competence. Proposals are developed for the formation of professional competence of a social worker in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. У статті розкрито формування компетентностей у фахівця соціальної роботи у Збройних Силах України в умовах війни. Компетентність розглядається як цілісне інтегративне особистісне утворення, сукупність соціальних знань, умінь, цінностей, досвіду, що забезпечують гармонійну взаємодію людини в погонах і суспільства. Висвітлено особливості соціальної роботи як прикладної діяльності у Збройних Силах України. Встановлено, що специфічні особистісні властивості соціального працівника, які необхідні йому для здійснення успішної професійної діяльності в умовах війни, тотожні характеристикам і основним компонентам соціальної компетентності. Розроблено пропозиції щодо формування професійної компетентності соціального працівника у Збройних Силах України. |
