Περιγραφή: The current situation in education reflects the real picture of the transition to a post-industrial society, the value of which is competence and competence. Until recently, the concept of competence and competence was associated with higher professional education, where specific methods of training specialists were born: task, project, contextual, and others focused on the development of competences and competences of future specialists. Implementation of the competence approach in general education school was engaged and engaged in many scientists-teachers. This approach is a response to the variability of society. The advocates of the competence approach in school education believe that its implementation will allow the creative personality to fill the educational activities of what is learned and overcome the alienation of theoretical knowledge from effective practical realization.The authors pay particular attention to methodological competence as a component of the professional competence of the future teacher of science in the modern school. Teachers' methodological competence is understood as the integral quality of a person, manifested in the ability to pursue activities on the basis of knowledge, skills, values, and experience acquired by future educators in the study of natural sciences, personal attitude to the activity in general and the subject of activity in particular.
Сучасна ситуація в освіті відбиває реальну картину переходу до постіндустріального суспільства, цінністю якого є компетенція і компетентність. До недавнього часу, поняття компетенція і компетентність асоціювалися з вищою професійною осві-тою, де зародилися специфічні методи підготовки фахівців : заданий, проектний, контекстний та інші, орієнтовані на розвиток компетенцій і компетентності майбутніх фахівців. Реалізацією компетентностного підходу в загальноосвітній школі займалися і займаються багато учених-педагогів. Цей підхід є відгуком на мінливість соціуму. Прибічники компетентностного підходу в шкільній освіті вважають, що його реаліза-ція дозволить наповнити творчим особовим компонентом освітню діяльність того, що навчається і здолати відчуженість теоретичних знань від ефективної практичної реалізації.
