| Description: | In pursuit of fostering national identity, disseminating information, fulfilling cultural and educational functions, conducting political struggle, and preserving historical memory within the national state-building of the Ukrainian Far Eastern Republic between 1917 and 1922, publishing activity proved to be an effective means of influence, serving as the cornerstone and an innovative endeavor for Ukrainian organizations in the Far East during the post-revolutionary era. One of the most significant outcomes of this publishing activity was the publication of the proceedings from the First and Second Ukrainian Far Eastern Congresses. At the historic First Ukrainian Far Eastern Congress in 1917, held in Nikolsk-Ussuriysky, discussions were initiated on key issues: the establishment of a publishing society, the publication of Ukrainian-language periodicals, and the acquisition of a printing house. The emergence of Ukrainian newspapers in the same year realized these plans, marking the beginning of publishing activity. The findings obtained can be utilized by government authorities to formulate effective diaspora policies, particularly in the areas of cultural, linguistic, legal, and educational provision, as well as in the development of strategic programs for the historical development of the Ukrainian people in the diaspora and within Ukraine. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the publishing activities of Ukrainian organizations in the Far East within the context of the national state-building of the Ukrainian Far Eastern Republic between 1917 and 1922. For the first time, previously unknown materials are introduced into scholarly discourse, revealing the specifics of publishing endeavors in the region. The research examines the formation of the publishing infrastructure, the thematic content of publications, and their role in preserving Ukrainian national identity and shaping the cultural space of the Ukrainian community. Consequently, publishing activity played a pivotal role in the national state-building of the Ukrainian Far Eastern Republic, ensuring the formation of national consciousness, information exchange, and cultural development. З метою формування національної ідентичності, поширення інформації, культурно-освітньої функції, політичної боротьби, збереження історичної пам’яті в національному державотворенні Української Далекосхідної Республіки у 1917-1922 роках ефективним засобом впливу виявилась видавнича діяльність, яка стала основою та новаторським кроком українських організацій на Далекому Сході у післяреволюційний час. Одним з найважливіших результатів видавничої діяльності стало видання матеріалів Першого та Другого Українських Далекосхідних з’їздів. На історичному Першому Українському Далекосхідному з’їзді 1917 року в Микільську-Усурійському було започатковано обговорення ключових питань: створення видавничого товариства, видання періодики українською мовою та придбання друкарні. Поява українських газет у тому ж році стала реалізацією цих планів, започаткувавши видавничу діяльність. Отримані результати можуть бути використані органами державної влади для формування ефективної діаспоральної політики, зокрема, у сфері культурного, мовного, юридичного та освітнього забезпечення, а також для розробки стратегічних програм історичного розвитку українського народу в діаспорі та на території України. Це дослідження є комплексним аналізом видавничої діяльності українських організацій на Далекому Сході в контексті національного державотворення Української Далекосхідної Республіки у 1917-1922 роках. Вперше в науковий обіг вводяться раніше невідомі матеріали, що розкривають специфіку видавничої справи в регіоні. Дослідження розглядає формування видавничої інфраструктури, тематику видань та їх роль у збереженні української національної ідентичності та формуванні культурного простору української громади. Отже, видавнича діяльність відіграла ключову роль у національному державотворенні Української Далекосхідної Республіки, забезпечуючи формування національної свідомості, інформаційний обмін та культурний розвиток. |
