| Περιγραφή: | In the article on the example of institutional transformations of a separate circus organization, such as the "Directorate of Moving Circus Collectives of Ukraine", the origin and development of the modern Ukrainian circus, with its individual face and color, is traced. The tendencies of development are analyzed, problems that are facing both its organization and Ukrainian circus art in general are considered.The idea of creating such a circus was that in the most remote corners ofUkraine, where there were no stationary circuses, people could see circus art, enjoy the wonderful artistic performances and attractions. The profound knowledge of the specifics of circus art and the rich artistic fantasy of the founders helped to successfully solve these issues, creating both thematic performances and highly entertaining attractions.It is emphasized that over 60 years of its existence, the Directorate has undergone a number of reorganization changes and changes in location, which were due to social transformations.Described the functions of the Directorate, the conditions of work of its teams, a list of managers who have made a significant contribution to the formation and operation of the organization. The circus programs of the Directorate include artists of various circus genres: jugglers, air gymnasts, acrobats, equilibrists, trainers, etc. Among the animals involved in circus performances are bears, monkeys, crocodiles, domestic and wild birds, dogs and other animals.The listed prominent Ukrainian circus actors who worked in the Directorate's collectives and created original numbers in different genres. For their outstanding achievements more than 20 artists of the Directorate of mobile circuses ofUkrainewere included in the Encyclopedia of Contemporary Ukraine.Positive and negative trends in the development of contemporary circus art have been analyzed, and suggested steps that could improve the situation in the industry and would help to preserve the achievements of Ukrainian circus groups and bring the circus art to a higher level. У статті розглянуті аспекти виникнення та розвитку витоків сучасного українського циркового мистецтва — явища скоморошества у Київській Русі та на Гетьманщині, сприйняття цього виду мистецтва представниками світської влади, духівництвом та пересічними глядачами. Наведений огляд становлення стаціонарних та пересувних цирків в ХІХ ст. на українських землях у складі Російської імперії. Вивчення циркового мистецтва в такий період історії України сприяє розумінню сучасних ре- алій циркового життя, допомагає з’ясувати засоби досягнення популярності артистів серед публіки. |
