Description: In primary school, music is used to connect subject matter across different disciplines, foster students’ creativity, and enable emotional expression through a variety of musical activities. An increasing number of teachers recognize its value and integrate it into other subjects. Through activities such as dramatization, dance, movement, and listening, students more easily grasp new material and develop expressive abilities. According to the National Curriculum Framework, music allows teachers to adapt curriculum content to suit the interests and abilities of individual students. A difference has been observed among generations of teachers – older teachers more often use music through traditional methods such as listening to compositions and singing, while younger teachers more often use creative teaching methods. This paper explores the ways in which music is integrated into other school subjects. A survey was conducted to examine whether teachers use music in other subjects, and if so, in which subjects and in what ways. Furthermore, the study analyzes differences in teachers' attitudes toward the interdisciplinary use of music in teaching, with regard to years of professional experience and musical education.
Glazba u razrednoj nastavi koristi se za povezivanje nastavnih sadržaja različitih predmeta, poticanje kreativnosti učenika i izražavanje emocija kroz različite glazbene aktivnosti. Sve više učitelja prepoznaje njenu vrijednost te ju integrira u druge nastavne predmete. Kroz razne aktivnosti poput dramatizacije, plesa, pokreta i slušanja učenici lakše usvajaju novo gradivo i razvijaju izražajne sposobnosti. Prema Nacionalnom okvirnom kurikulumu glazba omogućuje učiteljima prilagodbu nastavnih sadržaja u skladu sa individualnim željama i mogućnostima učenika. Uočena je razlika među generacijama učitelja - stariji učitelji glazbu češće koriste kroz tradicionalne metode slušanja skladbi i pjevanja dok se mlađi učitelji češće koriste kreativnim metodama rada. Ovaj rad istražuje načine na koje se glazba integrira u druge nastavne predmete. Provedenom anketom ispitali smo koriste li učitelji glazbu u drugim predmetima, ako da u kojim predmetima i na koje načine. Također, analizirane su razlike u stavovima učitelja prema interdisciplinarnoj primjeni glazbe u nastavi s obzirom na godine radnog iskustva i glazbeno obrazovanje.
