| Περιγραφή: | This work examines the tension between the beautiful and the uncanny in contemporary architecture. Drawing on theoretical approaches from Freud and Eugenio Trías, it explores how the unsettling does not exclude beauty but rather defines its threshold. Through references to Danto, Fisher, and Walker, it argues that “inhabiting the uncanny” does not mean dwelling in the monstrous, but acknowledging disorientation, strangeness, and boundaries as sources of beauty, particularly in the home as an intimate yet ambiguous space. Aquest treball estudia la tensió entre allò bell i allò sinistre en l’arquitectura contemporània. A partir de les aportacions teòriques de Freud i Eugenio Trías, s’explora com allò inquietant no exclou la bellesa, sinó que en marca el límit. Mitjançant referències a Danto, Fisher i Walker, es proposa que “habitar allò sinistre” no significa viure en allò monstruós, sinó reconèixer el desconcert, l’estranyesa i el límit com a generadors de bellesa, especialment en l’habitatge com a espai íntim i ambigu. Este trabajo estudia la tensión entre lo bello y lo siniestro en la arquitectura contemporánea. Desde una base teórica que incluye a Freud y Eugenio Trías, se explora cómo lo inquietante no excluye la belleza, sino que la delimita. A través de referencias a Danto, Fisher o Walker, se plantea que “habitar lo siniestro” no significa vivir en lo monstruoso, sino reconocer el desconcierto, la extrañeza y el límite como generadores de belleza, especialmente en la vivienda como espacio íntimo y ambiguo. |
