In this paper we consider the direct problem of axially symmetric flow of ideal gas in an annular axial-radial passage. Distributions of the mass flow rate of working fluid, total pressure, total specific volume, and tangential component of flow velocity over an inlet or outlet cross-section of the passage are taken as the initial data. The problem consists of independent flow calculation problems for any single cross-section of the passage. These independent problems can be solved both successively, one after another, and simultaneously. |
