| Description: | The article is devoted to theoretical and experimental researches of local materials, which are strengthened with portland cement and polymer-mineral composition «Nicoflok», in road structure. The relevance of the problem is proved by the increased number of vehicles on the roads and axial load increase which led to construction of material intensive thick sandwich systems and as a result, caused cost increase of roads construction. It is also important to take into account the fact that the 4 th part of all Russian regions have no rock materials, and there is a tendency of using new technologies and materials which are less expensive and more energy saving in road construction and reconditioning of roads. One of the most effective solutions of the problem of lack of solid rock materials is the use in pavement layer of strengthened loose ground (These are the materials which cannot be used in pavement layer construction if they are not strengthened and which are located in the a close proximity to the place of road construction.). The obtained results shall help to significantly reduce terms and costs on roads construction as well as to improve performance characteristics of roads.
