| Περιγραφή: | Article presents the analysis of the contemporary political science evolution, as well as the development process of such political science sub-discipline as comparative political science in historic context. We study in detail the political and epistemological context of the formation and development of behavioristic theory, structural-functional and system approaches of political systems, and the ‘new institutionalism’, and, accordingly, the contribution of these political science concepts in political science comparative researches. We focused on the contribution of G. Almond and D. Easton in comparative political studies and underline the importance of methodological potential of political systems’ comparative research. Speaking of the methodological potential of comparative political science, we note that its scientific apparatus implies priority of qualitative tradition as the area of application of quantitative methods in comparative political science research is extremely limited. Comparison of political systems and of the dynamic characteristics of those ones is based on the analysis of the political institutions. When comparing the political systems of some countries, political institutions in the country and individual cases act as the objects. Therefore, the comparative study of political systems, depending on the particular strategy research may be of multilevel character both on macro-social level (i.e. on the level of whole systems) and on the intra-system one В статье в историческом контексте рассматривается процесс становления современной политической науки (политологии) и ее субдисциплины – сравнительной политологии. Особое внимание уделяется выявлению методологического потенциала сравнительного анализа политических систем. |
