| Description: | The article deals with the problem of ethnic spiritual heritage actualization of the south of Western Siberia in open-air museums of the north of Kemerovo region, that is to say open-air museum “Mariinsk istoricheskij,” historical, cultural and natural museum “Tomskaja Pisanica,” ecological open-air museum “Tjul’berskij gorodok.” The authors draw attention to feature of this region, which consists of intension of cultural contacts. In this relation it is stressed that special role of open-air museums in cultural tradition communication, as well as it is defined concept “non-material cultural heritage” and “spiritual heritage.” Accordingly it described forms of spiritual heritage work in aforecited open-air museums. For example, annually in these museums organized theatrical events actualizing Siberian indigene calendar are held. As part of these activities, scientifically based reconstruction of indigenous rituals, prepared jointly with the museum staff and folk groups of Kemerovo region are carried out. The main methods of spiritual heritage actualization in open-air museums show fixation and science-based reconstruction. The fixation method is used when playing rites of Siberian indigenes. In the open-air museums, speakers of tradition (Shors, Teleuts and others) are invited. They transmit a tradition during museum festivals. However, the main method is science-based reconstruction, as reproducing Russian settlers’ heritage, a tradition which is difficult to find a speaker of. Rites are reconstructed on the basis of the published scientific literature and field data on the cultural heritage of Siberia. Reconstruction is complex: as the financial capacity of the museum recreated ritual paraphernalia, costume elements, traditional food, also used authentic items from the museum’s collections. As part of the theatrical events not only updated calendar rites, but also folk games, superstitions, folklore, etc. The authors make a conclusion that conservation and actualization of spiritual heritage should be conducted taking advantage cultural landscape approach, because it implies an object of traditional culture conservation in native environment. Cultural and educational activities’ importance of open-air museums of the north of Kemerovo region within spiritual heritage increases in relation to dynamic development of religious truism in Russian Federation. |
