| Description: | In the article the author analyses the impact of M. M. Bakhtin’s ideas on the model of time in the novel “The Campaign” by the Mexican writer C. Fuentes, especially the concept of “chronotope” which was theoretically substantiated by the Russian scholar. In the fictional world of the novel the time appears to be essentially connected with the space. The main character changes not only special, but also time coordinates while travelling around the Latin America in search of his lover. The chain of several relatively independent chronotopes is the most adequate form to represent the idea of a multicultural Latin American region. В данной статье автор анализирует влияние идей М.М. Бахтина на модель времени романа «Кампания» (“La campaña”, 1990) мексиканского писателя XX в. К. Фуэнтеса, в частности теоретически обоснованного русским культурологом понятия «хронотоп». В художественном мире романа время оказывается неразрывно связанным с пространством: главный герой, передвигаясь по Латинской Америке в поисках своей возлюбленной, меняет не только пространственные, но и временные координаты. Цепочка нескольких относительно независимых хронотопов наиболее адекватная форма воплощения идеи многокомпонентности культуры Латиноамериканского региона. |
