Description: В статье представлен анализ динамики поголовья скота и производства основных видов продукции животноводства в Челябинской области в крайне интересный и динамичный период истории Союза ССР. Новизна исследования, по мнению авторов, обеспечивается уже тем фактом, что в статье широко использованы материалы фондов одного из крупнейших федеральных архивов – Российского государственного архива экономики (РГАЭ), в большинстве своем не апробированные до наших дней. Утверждается, что к началу исследуемого периода животноводческая сфера сельского хозяйства Челябинской области находилась в глубоком кризисе. Авторская концепция состоит в том, что в 1950-х гг. был издан ряд постановлений союзных властей, положительно от-разившихся на развитии животноводства. Но в это же время в аграрной политике партии и правительства все отчетливее стала проявляться тенденция к всемерному ограничению индивидуальных хозяйств граждан. Определен вклад различных категорий хозяйств в производство животноводческой продукции. Выявлено, что в результате реализации государством своей аграрной политики основными ее поставщиками с конца 1950-х гг. становятся советские хозяйства. Далее в порядке убывания следовали хозяйства рабочих и служащих, колхозы и хозяйства колхозников. В целом в 1954–1964 гг. индивидуальные хозяйства в Челябинской области играли весьма значительную роль в производстве животноводческой продукции, однако на протяжении исследуемого периода они постепенно сдавали свои позиции, будучи не в силах соревноваться с общественным сектором. Авторы приходят к выводу, что в исследованном периоде животноводство Челябинской области, несмотря на ряд объективных и субъективных препятствий, сделало в своем развитии значительный шаг вперед.
This article presents an analysis of livestock and the production of livestock products in the Chelyabinsk region during a dynamic period in the history of the USSR (1954–1964). The novelty of the study is in the wide use of materials from the collections of one of the largest federal archives – the Russian State Archive of Economics (RGAE). Most of these materials have not been studied before. At the beginning of the period, the livestock sector of agriculture in the Chelyabinsk region was in deep crisis. In the 1950s, a number of resolutions were issued by the union authorities which had a positive impact on the development of animal husbandry. However, in the agrarian policy of the party and the government and the tendency to limit individual farms began to manifest itself more and more clearly. The contribution of various categories of farms to the production of livestock products is determined, and as a result of the state’s implementation of its agrarian policy, Soviet farms became its main supplier from the late 1950s. In general, from 1954 to 1964, individual farms in the Chelyabinsk region played a significant role in the production of livestock products, however, during the period under investigation their position waned, being unable to compete with the public sector. The authors conclude that the livestock industry of the Chelyabinsk region, despite a number of objective and subjective obstacles, made a significant step forward in its development.
