| Description: | The article deals with the relationship between the issues of existential philosophy and the experience of a cyclist. In the course of the research, the historical and philosophical study of the matter is augmented by a critical analysis of the phenomenology of everyday life and a consideration of the human body on a bicycle as a complex unit with its own catastrophic hazards. The bicycle has contributed to a shift in the problematics of philosophy from the study of the relation between the potential and the actual, or the positivist study of natural forces, to the consideration of being as a series of problematic situations. The bicycle juxtaposes inhabited and uninhabited spaces in a new way that allows for a productive convergence between deconstruction, as a doctrine of the rhizomaticity of spatial experience, and new ontologies that point to the cognizability of only inhabited spaces, where things are understood as inhabitants of spaces, aiming Heidegger ’s concept of language. В статье рассматривается связь проблематики экзистенциальной философии с опытом велосипедиста. В ходе исследования историко-философское изучение вопроса дополнено критическим анализом феноменологии повседневности и рассмотрением тела человека на велосипеде как сложного агрегата со своим катастрофическим риском. Велосипед способствовал смещению проблематики философии от изучения соотношения потенциального и актуального, или же от позитивистского исследования природных сил, к рассмотрению бытия как ряда проблемных ситуаций. Велосипед по-новому сопрягает обитаемые и необитаемые пространства, что позволяет продуктивно сблизить деконструкцию как учение о ризоматичности пространственного опыта и новые онтологии, указывающие на познаваемость только обитаемых пространств, когда вещи понимаются как обитатели пространств, внутри концепции Хайдеггера.
