| Description: | The article traces the history of the first and largest hospital establishment in the zemstvo of the Verkhoturye district until its nationalisation in the Soviet period. The author analyzes the reasons behind the establishment of the hospital in Nizhny Tagil factory settlement, the complications of its construction, and the process of medical equipment procurement. A systematic account of the medical personnel is provided, including the information on P. V. Kuznetsky, who was the hospital director for 36 years. The author concludes that this large hospital complex played an important role in providing medical assistance to the inhabitants of the factory settlement and other territories of Verkhoturye district. Рассмотрена история первого собственного и самого крупного больничного комплекса в Верхотурском уездном земстве до преобразования в советское медицинское учреждение. Показаны предпосылки его создания в Нижнетагильском заводском поселке, сложности затянувшегося строительства и совершенствования материально-технической базы. Систематизированы данные о составе врачей больницы, выдающейся роли П. В. Кузнецкого, возглавлявшего ее 36 лет. Проведенный анализ свидетельствует о неуклонном возрастании значения этого обширного больничного комплекса для обеспечения медицинской помощью населения Нижнетагильского заводского поселка и значительной части Верхотурского уезда. |
