Περιγραφή: The purpose of this article is the study of themes and subjects in painting women-artists of the XIX cent., in which was represented the idea of emancipation. In the context of visual theory, gender and feminist criticism, it is revealed that the paintings of women-artists reflected the main types of emancipation: women, racial, class, social. The author comes to the conclusion that the paintings of women-artists of the XIX cent. reflected the discussions on the formation of the female subjectivity, the racial issues, the expansion of serfdom, etc.
Целью статьи являлось изучение тем и сюжетов в живописи женщин-художниц XIX века, где были репрезентированы представления об эмансипации. В контексте визуальной теории, гендерной и феминистской критики выявлено, что живопись женщин-художниц отразила главные типы эмансипации: женскую, расовую, классовую, социальную. Автор приходит к выводу, что сюжеты картин женщин-художниц XIX века отразили дискуссии о становлении женской субъективности, расовом вопросе, разложении крепостничества и др.
