Περιγραφή: Статья посвящена проблеме привлечения к землеустроительным работам в Ар- замасском уезде в последней четверти XVI в. переселенного в уезд татарского на- селения. Анализ поместных актов 1578-1618 гг. позволил автору прийти к заключе- нию о том, что расселение татар-мусульман на территориях коренного мордовского населения происходило бесконфликтно, дал возможность выявить обстоятельства, способствовавшие мирному внедрению иноэтничного, иноконфессионального на- селения в уезд, в числе которых свою роль сыграло одинаковое восприятие царской администрацией правового статуса обоих этносов, а также определить дату пресече- ния привлечения татар к землеустроительным работам (1593).
On the basis of gentry registers from the period from 1578 to 1618 we see that Tatars played a role in ground works carried out in the Arzamas district in the last half of the 16th century. This territory had an indigenous Mordvin population, and the resettlement of Muslim Tatars into this area was carried out without major conflicts. One factor that allowed for an easy transfer of a population from another ethnos, and with another religion, was the circumstance that the Tsarist administration assigned to both ethnic groups one and the same legal status. The gentry books also allow us to date the end of the use of Tatars for ground works with the year 1593.
