Description: The relevance of the problem of the article is due to the need to ensure a high level of professional self-realization of students due to the formation of their interest in work and profession in the process of educational activity. The purpose of the article is to show the prospects for creating the necessary conditions for students to search and analyze broad real opportunities for their professional self-realization. The article draws attention to solving the problem of students’ adaptation not only to the university, but also to work by profession. The practical significance of the research results lies in the possibility of their use by teachers and mentors in programs of successful professional self-realization of students.
