| Description: | Objective of the study. To investigate the rate of the evidence of anxiety and depression in patients of the young age with reflex and radicular neuralgic manifestations of osteochondrosis of the transversal portion of the spinal column and to detect their influence on cerebrovascular reserve. Material and methods. The study involved 95 male patients suffering from neuralgic manifestations of osteochondrosis of the spinal column at the age of 19-45 years (the mean age constituted 34.05±5.7). The first group consisted of 50 patients with reflex manifestations of osteochodrosis of the transversal portion of the spinal column, 45 patients with radicular syndromes of the transversal osteochondrosis constituted the second group. The group of control consisted of 25 practically healthy persons of the corresponding age and gender. Extra-intracranial Dopplergraphy with determination of Overshut coefficient was carried out to the patients and psychological status of the patients was estimated by means of hospital scale of anxiety and depression HADS). Results. Anxiety level increases till subclinical in patients with radicular manifestations of osteochondrosis manifestations of the transversal portion of the spinal column and changes of the cerebral circulation with a decrease of autoregulation reserve of the cerebral blood flow have been established. Conclusion. The data obtained substantiate the need of angiotropic and psychotropic preparations inclusion into multimodality treatment of patients with radicular syndromes of the transversal osteochondrosis. |
