Περιγραφή: The work is a continuation of the study of the song tradition of the territory middle rivers Goryn and Sluch. The first articles were devoted to the coverage of the Kupala ritual and the analysis of lullabies. The purpose of the works is a thorough study of the chosen territory from the ethnographic, melotypological, plot-thematic aspects. This article analyzes the new expeditionary materials of the author concerning the winter ritual and accompanying her songs in the chosen region. The first section deals with the ethnographic context, the second one gives a melotypological systematization of melodies. The appendices contain examples of regional christmas songs, tables and a maps, where their musical characteristics are marked.
