Description: This poster highlights the need for efficient handling of digital research data, particularly in the health- and care-related sciences and points out, that subject-specific repositories are important partners in this endeavor. The repository-finder of the BMFTR-funded project GesundFDM helps finding the right repository for data archiving and publication needs in the health- and care-related sciences. However, while 33 subject-specific repositories exist, none of them are particularly dedicated to nursing science, underscoring the urgent need for a domain-specific repository to improve transparency, data reuse, and good scientific practice in nursing research. The poster was presented at the 4th International Conference of the German Society of Nursing Science on May 9th, 2025.
