Description: In Russia, quite often there are disputes and disagreements around the licensing of foreign content. One of the main reasons for this is compulsory licensing, when copyright holders are forced to sell their rights to use content in Russia without their consent. This practice causes a lot of controversy, since compulsory licensing is not the equivalent of piracy and has a negative impact on the development of the cultural and entertainment industry in Russia. In this article we will look at the main problems of compulsory licensing of foreign content in the Russian Federation and explain the difference between this practice and piracy.
В России довольно часто возникают споры и разногласия вокруг вопросов лицензирования зарубежного контента. Одной из главных причин этого является принудительное лицензирование, когда правообладатели вынуждены продавать свои права на использование контента в России без своего согласия. Эта практика вызывает много разногласий, так как принудительное лицензирование не является эквивалентом пиратства и негативно сказывается на развитии культурно-развлекательной индустрии в России. В данной статье мы рассмотрим основные проблемы принудительного лицензирования иностранного контента в РФ и объясним отличие этой практики от пиратства.
