| Description: | The article highlights the activities of an unofficial collegial body under Emperor Alexander I - the Secret Committee. Based on the analysis of the projects of administrative and estate reforms of the emperor and his "young friends", it is shown that the reason for the curtailment of the liberal policy of the beginning of the reign of Alexander I lay in the inability of the authorities to resist the conservative noble groups that influenced the policy and power decisions of the monarch. В статье освещается деятельность неофициального коллегиального органа при императоре Александре I - Негласного комитета. На основе анализа проектов административных и сословных реформ императора и его «молодых друзей» показано, что причина свёртывания либеральной политики начала царствования Александра I крылась в неспособности власти противостоять консервативным дворянским группировкам, оказывающим влияние на политику и властные решения монарха. |
