Description: The article examines the practices of the Saratov Bolsheviks in forming the foundations of physical culture and sport in 1920. It is shown that the theoretical basis for the policy in the field of development of physical culture and sport in Soviet Russia were the works of the founders of Marxism-Leninism. The author identified two approaches to understanding the essence of state policy in the field of physical culture and sport, on the basis of which practices developed locally, including in the Saratov province in the 1920s. A critical analysis of the key moments and persons who were at the origins of the formation and development of physical culture and sports in Saratov is carried out. Based on the system method, the process of practical implementation of the theoretical understanding of the role of physical culture and sports in the life of society is shown. The author came to the conclusion that the development of physical culture and sports in the Saratov province was implemented in the context of state policy and decrees of central authorities.
В статье рассмотрены практики саратовских большевиков по формированию основ физической культуры и спорта в 1920 г. Показано, что теоретической основой политики в области развития физической культуры и спорта в Советской России были работы основоположников марксизма-ленинизма. Автор выделил два подхода к пониманию сути государственной политики в области физической культуры и спорта, на основе которых и развивались практики на местах, в том числе и в Саратовской губернии в 1920-е гг. Проведен критический анализ ключевых моментов и персон, находившихся у истоков становления и развития физической культуры и спорта в Саратове. На основе системного метода показан процесс реализации на практике теоретического понимания роли физической культуры и спорта в жизни общества. Автор пришел к выводу, что развитие физической культуры и спорта в Саратовской губернии реализовывалось в контексте государственной политики и постановлений центральных органов власти.
