| Περιγραφή: | The article analyzes the work of the administration and sanitary and hygienic institutions of the cities of KhMAO-Yugra to improve the hydrochemical condition of the reservoirs of the settlements of the district during the years of its oil and gas development. Its purpose is to reconstruct the real history of the influence of natural, climatic and geographical conditions of the north of Western Siberia, as well as the consequences of the man-made impact of industrial oil production and its transportation on the quality of water consumed by residents of the region. Among the main tasks, the author seeks to identify the causes of poor water quality and exceeding the maximum permissible concentration of harmful substances in it.Based on the modernization methodological paradigm and using ideographic, historical-comparative and other concrete historical methods, as well as historical and logical principles of research, the author shows for the first time in Russian historiography how, as a result of the comprehensive measures taken to restore old and build new structures for water intake and transportation of drinking water, as well as the use of effective means and methods of its purification during the study period, it was possible to significantly improve its environmental and sanitary-hygienic characteristics. В статье анализируется работа администрации и санитарно-гигиенических учреж- дений городов ХМАО-Югры по улучшению гидрохимического состояния водоемов населенных пунктов округа в годы его нефтегазового освоения. Ее целью является реконструкция реальной истории влияния природно-климатических и географических условий севера Западной Сибири, а также последствий техногенного влияния промыш- ленной добычи нефти и ее транспортировки на качество потребляемой воды жителями региона. В числе основных задач автор стремится выявить причины низкого качества воды и превышения предельно допустимых норм концентрации вредных веществ в ней. Основываясь на модернизационной методологической парадигме и используя идеогра- фический, историко-сравнительный и другие конкретно-исторические методы, а также исторический и логический принципы исследования, автор впервые в отечественной историографии показывает, как в результате принятых комплексных мер по восстановле- нию старых и строительству новых сооружений водозабора и транспортировки питьевой воды, а также применения эффективных средств и методов ее очистки на протяжении исследуемого периода удалось существенно улучшить ее экологические и санитарно-гигиенические характеристики.
