Περιγραφή: В статье поднимаются проблемы преподавания в современном обществе, когда мир стремительно меняется, требуя новых подходов в сфере высшего образования. Автор доказывает, что проблемы, связанные с преподаванием английского языка, имеют особое значение при всем многообразии изучаемых предметов. В статье изложены конкретные проблемы, связанные с современными технологиями, с которыми сталкиваются не только студенты, но и преподаватели. Помимо профессиональных проблем, автор анализирует некоторые психологические проблемы, возникающие в процессе обучения, и высказывает свой взгляд на их причины. В статье представлено глубокое исследование роли английского языка в современной действительности. Особый акцент сделан на проблемах преподавания в технических вузах. Автор предлагает некоторые приемы и методики, которые могут облегчить преподавание технического английского языка. Особая ценность статьи заключается в том, что автор предлагает пути решения некоторых выявленных проблем.
The article arises teaching problems in a modern society, when the world is changing rapidly requiring new approaches in the field of higher education. The author proves that the problems related with teaching English language, have a special importance in the variety of subjects. The specific challenges concerning modern technologies, which not only the students, but also the teachers face, are stated in the article. In addition to the professional problems the author analyzes some psychological problems, which occur in the teaching process and gives her own view of their roots. The article presents deep research of the role of English in the modern reality. A special focus is given to the teaching challenges at technical universities. The author proposes some techniques and methods, which may facilitate teaching of technical English. A special value of the article lies in the fact that the author offers solutions to some of the identified problems.
