| Περιγραφή: | One of the most important issues in the training of bachelors and specialists in technical fields in technical universities is the mastering of quality knowledge, skills and abilities in foreign language in the area of professional communication. In view of the limited time resource allocated to humanities disciplines, it is especially important to identify the most significant topics. The article is dedicated to the problem of organizing the process of teaching a professional foreign (English) language in a technical university. The most significant aspects of the future professional activity are identified and the most relevant topics to be studied within the discipline "Professional English" are determined. The analysis of curricula and structuring of the working programme of the discipline "Professional English" for the training direction 15.03.02 "Technological Machines and Equipment" on the profile "Machines and Equipment of Oil and Gas Fields" is carried out. Один из важнейших вопросов подготовки бакалавров и специалистов по техническим направлениям в технических вузах является овладение качественными знаниями, умениями и навыками по иностранному языку в области профессионального общения. Ввиду ограниченного временного ресурса, отводимого на гуманитарные дисциплины, особенно важно определить наиболее значимые темы. Статья посвящена проблеме организации процесса обучения профессиональному иностранному (английскому) языку в техническом вузе. Выявляются наиболее значимые аспекты будущей профессиональной деятельности и определяются наиболее актуальные темы для изучения в рамках дисциплины «Профессиональный английский язык». Проводится анализ учебных планов и структуризация рабочей программы по дисциплине «Профессиональный английский язык» для направления подготовки 15.03.02 «Технологические машины и оборудование» по профилю «Машины и оборудование нефтяных и газовых промыслов».
