| Description: | The article gives description of features of how names of the Korean TV series are translated into Russian. The relevance of the research is related to the functional approach to the linguistic study phenomena in a comparative, intercultural aspect. The article focuses on new and relevant material: interest in Korean popular culture in Russia is growing every year, existing film services are faced with the need to translate and duplicate Korean films. The article presents a quantitative analysis of the types of translation of titles of the Korean TV series. The specifics of the Korean material have been identified for each type of translation. It is found that the literal and transformational types of translation are the most frequent. The group of lexical and grammatical transformations describes the types: omission, addition, replacement, concretization, generalization, and antonymic translation. Reasons for transformations in translation and ways of translating non-equivalent vocabulary are considered. As a result of the work, the author determines that the translated titles of the Korean TV series can be a means of getting acquainted with the Korean culture. Статья посвящена описанию особенностей перевода названий корейских сериалов на русский язык. Актуальность исследования связана с функциональным подходом к исследованию языковых явлений в сопоставительном, межкультурном аспекте. В центре внимания статьи новый и актуальный материал: интерес к корейской массовой культуре в России растет с каждым годом, существующие киносервисы сталкиваются с необходимостью перевода и дублирования корейских фильмов. В статье представлен количественный анализ типов перевода названий корейских сериалов. Для каждого типа перевода выявлена специфика в отношении корейского материала. Было установлено, что дословный и трансформационный типы перевода являются самыми частотными. В группе лексико-грамматических трансформаций описаны такие типы, как опущение, добавление, замена, конкретизация, генерализация, антонимический перевод. Рассмотрены причины трансформаций при переводе и пути перевода безэквивалентной лексики. В результате работы определено, что переводные названия корейских сериалов могут быть средством знакомства с корейской культурой. |
