| Description: | У статті охарактеризовано соціокультурну ситуацію середини 50-х –середини 70-х рр. ХХ ст. та її вплив на творчість Державного ансамблю танцю УРСР під керівництвом П. Вірського. Зазначено, що в умовах хрущовської відлиги та національно-культурного відродження за часів П. Шелеста, який прихильно ставився до ансамблю та його керівника, гастрольні закордонні поїздки ансамблю носили пропагандистський та популяризаторський характер, однак часто були політично забарвленими (гастролі до Чехословаччини 1968 р. з метою налагодження міждержавних стосунків після кризи дипломатичних відносин). Дотримуючись ідеологічних та соцреалістичних державних настанов до репертуару ансамблю входили як танці, пов’язані із фольклорною образністю, так і номери та балети, присвячені сучасній радянській дійсності. The article describes the socio-cultural situation of the mid-50's mid 70's of the twentieth century. and its influence on the work of the State Dance Ensemble of the USSR under the direction of P. Virskyi. It is noted that in the conditions of Khrushchev's thaw and national-cultural revival during the time of P. Shelest, who was sympathetic to the ensemble and its leader, the ensemble's tours abroad were propagandistic and popularizing, but were often politically colored (tours to Czechoslovakia in 1968). establishment of interstate relations after the crisis of diplomatic relations).
