| Description: | В статье на основе архивных источников и специальной научной литературы показана роль северокавказцев в политике Российской империи исследуемого периода. Освещено, что Персия приняла условия Туркманчайского мирного договора, но стала чинить всяческие преграды с исполнением в надежде на поражение России в назревавшей войне с Портой. Как известно, османы в регионе, нарушая Бухарестский мирный договор 1812 г., вели активную подрывную деятельность против России. Кроме того, подчеркнуто как представители российских властей нередко вызывали рост недовольства горцев действиями русских войск в регионе. В целом красной нитью в статье проходит мысль, что местные народы в борьбе России против Порты и Персии, а также находившихся за спиной последних западноевропейских держав, активно поддерживали Российское государство. Вased on archival sources and special scientific literature, the article shows the role of North Caucasians in the policy of the Russian Empire during the period under study. It is highlighted that Persia accepted the terms of the Turkmanchay Peace Treaty, but it began to give all sorts of obstacles with their implementation in the hope of defeating Russia in the brewing war with Porte. As it is known, the Ottomans in the region, violating the Bucharest Peace Treaty of 1812, conducted active subversive activities against Russia. In addition, it is emphasized how representatives of the Russian authorities often caused an increase in highlanders’ dissatisfaction with the actions of Russian troops in the region. In general, the idea running all through the article is that the local people actively supported Russian state in the struggle of Russia against Porte and Persia, as well as those who were behind the last Western European powers. |
